Community Newspapers - Hear Them Roar

In a surprising announcement today, Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. has pulled out of the bidding for Newsday. This comes after Murdoch statements that a deal was imminent. Now the front runner is Cablevision, owners of the New York Knicks, but never owners of a newspaper. Does anyone see a pattern emerging?
